Nice colour! The sun sure brings the Dutch to the outdoors!
But like you said, biking in the rain is indeed a given… I’ll never forget a fearful thunderstorm that left the rickety old apartment building in Javaplein shaking (and I was also shaking!)… pouring buckets of rain…wind so strong the telephone lines looked like they would rip clear through…And lo and behold I looked out the window from where I was sitting in comfort and warmth, to Amsterdamians biking along their daily tasks…
