Double Dutch Parking

I never got around to doing the obvious stuff, like this. It was about time. I present you the floating bicycle parking garage at Amsterdam Central Station.

Just an Amsterdam native who won't take his city and its cycling extravaganza for granted anymore, thinking these posts might be clues to others, inspiration perhaps, if you will...

Latex free? Do you perhaps mean Spandex free… I’m not sure where latex gets used in cycling, even in America!

    Love your blog!

lol, I was waiting for someone to say something about that. You won the grand prize: an exclusive day tour hosted by me the next time you visit Amsterdam! And a soon-to-be-made Amsterdamize merchandise of your choosing. :-)

    thanks, Wilma

Ha! I may just take you up on that offer. My husband and I enjoyed a day of cycling from Amsterdam along Rondehoep Oost & West last summer, with lunch in Ouderkerk a/d Amstel. It was a highlight of our ten days in Holland (along with seeing “The Girl With the Pearl Earing” at the Mauritshuis.) Since then, I’ve become addicted to cycling, so next time, I want to do a lot more of it. No trip plans at present, but you’ve got me dreaming!
    Tot siens!

That’s real nice, Wilma, telling highlights! Who knows, maybe soon enough.

Hold on to that addiction and tot ziens!
