Dutch People On Bikes Say Hi

Honestly, I still have to meet to first person on a bike that objects to me…uhm, objectifying him or her. So here’s a little tribute to their good humor…and similar behavior on two wheels that deserves to be included.

  • It seems bicyclists in the U.S. aren't much for waving at fellow bicyclists. I've heard/read people complain about this. I'm not sure what, if anything, it means.
  • I've heard that too, and no person on a bike waves at others or feels the need to (as cycling is so commonplace), unless they see a familiar face of course :), but that's not what these pictures are about: they are waving at the photographer with the massive camera standing on the sidewalk :)
