Dont forget to get some Proofide to Help Soften it. It is very Hard on your Posteriour until you break it in. I have one just like it and it is very Firm for 200 Miles.

thanks, Norbert, it's 'proofed'. My first Brooks broke in way to easy, leaving me with a 'dead' saddle after only 3 weeks. So that one is going to be returned to the factory. Meanwhile I'm already much happier with this one.

A fine angle of a true beauty. May I suggest using a hole punch to make two holes either side lower down mid area to lash a cord to sinch in and raise up the center of your saddle. This helps to take the "hog" out and improves comfort. A Lepper saddle for the MO-05 Swiss military fahrrad is factory built in this way. Wow, what a great saddle the Lepper is. Good luck with this saddle and don't let those craftpersons as Brooks think we aren't on our toes. Top quality built that great company and now the new owners must have this reinforce to keep them at their best.

thanks, Carl. The worn out one was the model with the cord, but the sagging couldn't be helped by any sinching. I'll ask Henry about it next time. I'll tell it like it is, Carl. :)

I have a couple of Bikes and one was a Bike I used to Commute to Work in the City. It was a Cheap Hybrid style City Bike with a Plastic Saddle. I had not used this in a long time since I got the Dutch Bike from Work Cycles, and I was Enjoying The Sheer Luxury of the Dutch one with the B67 Saddle. I decided to go on the Hybrid for a change and it was Light compared to the Dutch one and easier going up Steep Hills But I was Sore after being on the Plastic Saddle. I got a Rash from it ,so I Prefer the Leather one better more Comfortable Now . It was not like this in the beginning it was very firm and I had to adjust the Nose upwards Slightly as I was Slipping Forward on the Saddle. If I ever get a New Bike in the Future I will always Specify a Leather Saddle Now. Best of Luck with the New Saddle.

What is your Opinion of The Dutch Leather Lepper Saddle from Dieren are they any good. I was thinking of getting one of those sometime for Authenticity sake.
